Kittens Available This Season

We plan a small number of litters each year, which means every kitten gets hands-on time from the day they’re born. Right now we have a litter growing up and getting ready for their families — you can see who’s still looking for a home, meet them on video, and reserve the one that’s yours.

Meet the breeder

Hi, I’m Yaryna — the person raising your kitten

Jersey Ragdolluxe is not a company. It’s my home in New Jersey, where Ragdolls have been part of the family for more than fifteen years.

I started the way most people do — with one Ragdoll who completely rearranged my idea of what a cat could be. Fifteen years later I’m a registered TICA breeder with titled cats in my program, and I still do everything myself: the 3 a.m. checks, the socialising, the vet visits, the endless photos I send to families who just want to see how their kitten slept last night.

I keep the program small on purpose. A few carefully planned litters a year means I know every kitten’s personality by the time you meet them — who’s the lap cat, who follows you into the shower, who talks back. When you call me, I can tell you which one is right for your home, because I actually know.

The first 12 weeks

How Our Kittens Grow Up

The first 12 weeks decide what kind of cat you get for the next 15 years. Here’s what those weeks look like here.

Ragdoll kittens playing at home in a New Jersey cattery

Underfoot, not in cages

Our kittens are born in the bedroom and grow up in the middle of everything — the vacuum, the doorbell, the dishwasher, guests, kids. By the time they come to you, almost nothing rattles them.

Ragdoll kitten being handled and socialised by the breeder

Handled from day one

They’re held, cuddled and played with every single day. That’s why Ragdolls from a home program flop into your arms instead of running from them.

Health-tested Ragdoll kitten resting at a New Jersey Ragdoll breeder

Health before beauty

Both parents are genetically health-tested and clear. Every kitten is screened for FeLV and FIV, gets two vaccinations, and is spayed or neutered before go-home day. Nothing leaves here unfinished.

Litter-trained Ragdoll kittens ready to go home from a breeder in New Jersey

Litter-trained and food-steady

Fully litter-box trained and eating solid food on a routine you’ll get in writing, so their first week with you is calm instead of chaotic.

What makes us different

Meet Your Kitten on Video Before You Decide

Buying a kitten from photos is a leap of faith. You’re looking at a beautifully lit picture and hoping there’s a real, healthy, well-raised animal behind it — and a real person behind that.

So we don’t ask you to take that leap. Book a 15-minute video call and I’ll walk you through the room with the kittens in it. You’ll see them moving, playing, climbing on me, ignoring me. You’ll see where they sleep. You’ll see me. Ask about the parents, the health testing, the contract, the price — anything.

Most families know which kitten is theirs within about five minutes. Some book a call just to figure out whether a Ragdoll fits their life at all, and that’s a completely fine reason to call too.

  • The kittens, live and unedited — not a highlight reel
  • Where they eat, sleep and play
  • Their parents, if you’d like to meet them
  • Me, answering whatever you want to ask

The Cats Behind Every Litter

Every kitten here comes from parents I chose deliberately — for temperament first, then health, then type. Our queens and kings are TICA-registered, health-tested, and live as family cats, not breeding stock. You’re welcome to meet them on your video call.

FAQ

Questions Families Ask

Are you a registered Ragdoll breeder?
Yes. Jersey Ragdolluxe is a registered cattery with TICA (The International Cat Association), with titled cats in our program. Every kitten leaves with TICA registration papers.
Where are you located, and can I visit?
We’re in Stewartsville, New Jersey, and we welcome families for pick-up. For everyone’s safety — kittens under twelve weeks have developing immune systems — the first “visit” is a video call rather than a walk-through. You’ll see far more on the call than you would in a twenty-minute visit anyway.
How much is a Ragdoll kitten?
$3,200, which includes spay or neuter, two vaccinations, FeLV and FIV testing, TICA papers, litter training and a written health guarantee.
Do you take a deposit?
No. We never ask for a deposit or any payment upfront. You tell us which kitten is yours, we take them off the available list, and you pay when you come to take them home.
Are the parents health-tested?
Yes. Both parents are genetically screened and clear of the conditions that matter in this breed, and every kitten is individually tested for FeLV and FIV before going home.
How old are kittens when they go home?
Around 12 to 16 weeks. It’s tempting to send them sooner, but those extra weeks with mum and littermates are what produce a confident, well-adjusted cat.
Do you ship kittens?
No — we don’t ship kittens anywhere. Every kitten goes home in person: families come to us in New Jersey and take their kitten home themselves. It’s the safest, least stressful start for the kitten, and it means we get to meet the family too.
Do you have a waiting list?
Yes. We plan a small number of litters each year, so if nothing is available now, joining the list is the way to be first in line for the next one.
